Michele Carey, born Michele Lee Henson, was the child of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr the American doctor, and Thelma B. Burnell Henson. Michele Carey, or Michele Lee Henson, was first born February 26, 1942 in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. As a teen, she performed well on the piano, and at only 13 years old she took home an international prize at Chicago Music Festival.
